Ponyville Fire Episode Discussion (Patreon)

This episode took us a lot of time to make as it has so many major world building elements to it.  This is the first official outside view of Twilight's massive home.  It's not a castle, but it is large for!  So the house will look like this going forward and you will now see detailed angles of it from the outside more frequently.  We also did some world building for Ponyville, showing Twilight's home is up a hill, which fits in to a map we've been working on.  We can make the assumption that Ponyville has at least two fire stations based on panel 3.  We get our most complete view of Ponyville in the series from panel 4, showing us a view of a residential area as it lowers towards the town by the river.  We see the Cascade Gorge and River, with the iconic mountains around the town in the background.  

I thought for sure this episode was going to be a huge hit.  It wasn't.  In fact it kind of flopped, but the few people who loved the added details really made it worth it.  The few people who appreciate the world building and continuity we follow make this all worth it.  I'm so happy with this episode and I hope others truly appreciate what we (all of us and you) have built!  It's like a mini Simpsons with a whole town of citizens and we will continue to build it out to show common locations and more! I'm just so excited seeing this all come to fruition.  

I just found it clever how we have this action packed packed sequence which ends with the fire just being from Twilight.  All this work for the firefighters to find no danger.  We also got to create some new characters (without names, but you helped us name them in a previous post) which is always fun.

The title of the episode is a jab to those tv shows that have a city's name in the title and just put "Fire" in the background.
