Happy Friday!!! Big things are going on at the Adorable abode. After years of Spike complaining about the heat, wishing they had AC, it has never worked. But now, out of the kindness of her Adorkable big heart (not a health problem), Twilight has given in and decided to buy a AC system for Spike, and the whole household.  Granted, where they live it doesn't get too hot ever, but it will still make at least Spike more comfortable and happy.

Who isn't happy are the fuss-bots of Starlight Grumpypants and MoonWAHncer.  The ongoing stereotype joke that mares like it hot over cold continues! But will Star and Moon get what they want over Spike? We will find out.

Some things to notice, Amethyst Star's house is scene in the background of panel 1. Just further confirming that she is the neighbor to the "right" of Twilight's home if looking at them directly.

Panel two has a heating and AC service truck.  As typical in this region of the country, heating services are called upon more than AC services.  So heating would get top billing on the advertising of the van over AC.  Using older data, but in 2010 for example, roughly 39% of homes had AC in Portland, Oregon. Only 44% of homes in Settle had AC in 2019, and ten years earlier it was only 28%. So as you can see, AC is not a major priority for this region where Adorkable Twilight roughly parodies.
