Long Summer Episode Discussion (Patreon)

Sometimes a great idea just hits you!  You can just feel it's a good one and you know people are going to like it too!  This was that episode!  So far and few in-between to have such confidence knowing this will be a hit!  Well, it wasn't on Tumblr, and not so much on Derpibooru, but is exploded on Twitter! I was so happy!  It was fun designing Cheerilee's face.  I'm not sure what you would call this expression, but I harken it to when a Sponebob episode has a close-up shot of a character that shows all the details on their face.  ALL OF THEM.   We didn't get that crazy, but it was fun doing a totally different expression.

It was also nice showing the CMC.  We were SUPER close at actually going to draw the CMC older, as if time passed.  Well, we chickened out.  We have plenty of older characters to play with, so keep the young ones young so we can use them for unique things only they can do.  Lol!  Sweetie Belle hopping instead of walking tells you so much about her character, and she doesn't even need to say anything.

We also added several real characters from the show as background characters.  Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara get their first AT&F appearance, and Trevor and Johnny appear again too!
