Favorite Locations In MLP:FiM? (Patreon)

As we celebrate twelve years of MLP:FiM, I have been going through as much background scenery I can find for the show and I wanted to point out a few locations that visually are very pretty to me. Sometimes it can be a big unsettling seeing these backgrounds without any characters in them, because they are clearly meant to be shown with action in the forefront.
I would love to hear/see some visually pretty locations you can think of, or just places you really like!
Visually, I think Seaward Shoals is my favorite location. I love the water, the docks, and the algae covered rocks with starfish on them. It looks like a wonderful place. This scene appears so fast and it's gone, but it has so much charm with the little boards and boys. I like the homes on stilts and the various marine motifs on them like a captains wheel, rope, etc. The lighthouse stands out and is made of a lovely brick material. Also the green hills covered in Evegreens are lovely. I could totally picture this town with misty and foggy mornings. Beautiful.
The second image is of Appleloosa. I love it when the show gives us sweeping views of locations. While visually not my favorite, I thought it was neat to see the town. It is essentially a main street and that's it.
Rainbow Falls is visually interesting. It's a high plateau up in the mountains with waterfalls physically running down in and around the town like water! What a fantastic, magical design this town has! Way more fantastical then what we do in AT&F with a more grounded reality.
I think Sire's Hollow has some of the coolest buildings and color palette, but there sadly isn't many angles of views. This show shows a traditional and historical building on one side, and a modern commercial row of buildings on the other. Very interesting contrast between the two town managers here, but I love the historic vibe section.
Here is a spa business in the Crystal City. There are a lot of nice details the background artists did, but so often we never get to pay attention to them because we are following the show itself. I love the reflective look of the streets as well.
