The BIG ONE.  The big story event of the season.  Adorkable Twilight meets Lawrence's parents.

Most didn't see this coming at all, and that is what we always try to do!  I won't add much to this other than we spent a lot of time with the backgrounds and a ton of time creating the story leading up to this over the months.  I'm very happy how it turned out and it seems the community did too.  It drew in big numbers. Thank you everyone!

Oof, yeah I can't say I saw this one coming. Sad for Lawrence.

This struck me hard on more than one level.

This is one of my favorite wholesome moments so far, it really hit hard, but in a good way. I know I made jokes on Twitter that I was judging you for making this, but I have to say i really do love the end of this trip Twilight had with Lawrence, it felt right and good, and I felt really sad for Lawrence, but glad that you said to Twilights offer. The part of this one really makes that clear

Sorry to break the moment, but I honestly not that impress with Lawrence now. The way to tell your parents are dead isn't to ask another person if they want to meet them and then bring them to a cemetery, especially when a several days trip is involved. He could have told her multiple times as well, always avoiding the subject. I have sympathy to Lawrence and I don't hate him for the manipulation, it might still hurt him and I can understand. Still, not his greatest moment IMO.

Good thing Lawrence didn't ask Twilight to come with him. :) She invited herself. Throughout he gave her many opportunities to not see them including here. But I totally understand where you are coming from. From your viewpiont, he would be no better than Greg keeping a secret from her.

Good point, missed that one. It makes it better than if he asked by quite a bit. Still, he should have opened up earlier or tell her he prefers she wouldn't come this time IMO.

This one struck me in the gut. I absolutely did not see it coming at all, and it really rendered me speechless. It also subverted almost all of my theories leading up to this point as well. Though, I do still have some unanswered questions. Were the mare’s items in the back of his car really his sister’s then? If so, why were they there and how does this relate to his parents? Also, is the secret of his parents meant to be “the thing he (Lawrence) is embarrassed of about himself” from the card game he and Twilight played? These are still two major questions I have, and I don’t know if this arc was meant to address them or not.

That’s all the reassurance I need. I really look forward to finding out the answers in due time. :-)

This was an extremely well made series of comics and unfortunately I was cutting onions while reading it so I had to read it again.
