First of all, welcome all the new Patreon supporters!  I am overjoyed to have you here!

Ever let it sink in and realize how much time has passed?  Maybe you aren't the same person you thought you were.  Maybe high school graduation was ages or ago, or college was years back.  You realize MLP:FiM ended in 2020... Time marches one.  This comic started in 2014.  Dang.

Something all creators who do something for a long time have to deal with is do their characters age, or do the stay in a time warp where they remain the same age?  We've had a view in-house where AT&F takes places all within a few years of each other.  There is some conflicting pieces such as our various holiday specials which would imply many more years then you would expect, except... We purposely make our holiday specials happen in a way that they could all be taking place in the same year, just different days apart.  There are a few exceptions, but that's how it is!

So do our characters? Yeah.  By a lot?  No.  They fit in a certain time slot that happens to be the "current now" and will continue to do so.

Oh yeah... and here's a comic.  We wanted to show Starlight's responsibility and how she pays to live there now, even though Twilight doesn't want payment.

"You don't need too" in panel 4 should be "need to".

A part of me doesn't really believe how long it's been since college. I don't feel like I've changed at all, so how could all that time have passed?

I feel the same as you. I still feel as spry as in High School and as whatever as I did in college. I can't believe I haven't seen some people in X amount of years. I still view them as their age back then. It's crazy.

Yeah, things change forever during high school and stop marching on.
