Player Online Episode Discussion (Patreon)

Smolder has been revealed!  Since the group is playing a game online, it allows them to all meet and be together without actually being physically together.  We thought it was a good way to introduce Smolder.  She is aged up like our Adorkable Spike.  There is no School of Friendship and no other way they would have met otherwise.  So for now, she will remain a character they play online with.  Where she lives is unknown, but she's online!

This episode especially took quite a long time to draw as unlike many comics (not just ours) we drew completely unique scenes for every single panel in more cinematic angles. Believe me, if we had time to do this all the time, I'd be totally down for it!  Lol!  I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  We also had fully realized backgrounds for every panel, but ended up removing them because it was distracting and took away from the characters. The only background that remained was from the first panel... so it gives you an idea of what the setting was.

Also note, Vinyl is holding her arrow the wrong way, yet she is the highest ranked player of the group... She might have been grinding, but clearly isn't as much of a pro as other think... I mean... I wasn't supposed to say that.
