We've avoided bringing up this topic like the plague... oh... bad wording.  Under the current world issue that has left people divided on several fronts; some places are closing down, some are opening up, some stayed home and didn't/couldn't work, and some were on the front lines working.  But I have a simple question to you.  What have you been doing with your presumed extra time off from the world?  Chances are if you aren't a front line worker you may have had some extra YOU time.  What have you been using it for?

I hope you all stay safe and are enjoying life and really appreciating all it has to offer.

I'm an EMT, so I've been working hard and trying to avoid folks when I'm off work.

Hey, thank you so much. Everyone (I am speaking for everyone) really can't thank you enough for your hard work. Not just during this event, but at all the other times everyday and night. People never think about you all much, but you are vital. So in short, thank you.

I'm """""essential""""" and have to push carts because our tire shop that's attached to the grocery store is still closed. Can everyone else run things for a bit while us essentials get a month off?

It is concerning why governments felt they needed to deem what is essential and what isn't? Why is it essential I can get a frying pan at Walmart, but not Mom n' Pop's Frying Pan Emporium in Oldtown USA? Hmmm. Probably would be safer there than a packed Walmart too. But I digress, as I don't speak politics. I am just filling in for our normal writer anyways. ;-)

I work at an airport and it is really sceary now. Like 2'000 passengers instead of 80'000. But it is good that no one is traveling. As of now, free time is filled with games mostly. Wich is how i fill most of my freetime anyways.

I've been able to work from home. The extra time I save by not driving to work, I've been using to try to go for walks when it's nice outside.

That is wild indeed. So many airlines are going to be struggling as well as businesses that rely on travel. One of the local terminals near me actually had to shutter since they had no customers.

I repair point of sale machines and debit/credit equipment so I have been very busy.

I work in telecommunications (PBX company for businesses), so I've been pretty busy with internal support tickets. Thankfully the majority of us can work remotely. I occasionally have to put on my gas mask and visit our provisioning warehouse to ship a laptop or a deskphone to an employee, but most of the time I lurk inside, as is my tendency even when there isn't a lockdown ;)
