We completely changed out week's schedule to add this comic in last minute... we felt it tied in better with the show ending.  All those memories and feelings kind of match what this comic was portraying.

It's funny how we place value on things.  For someone this object has value, sentimental value for example.  To someone else it means nothing.  Value is only as valuable as you make it.

Do you have anything you want to share of value?

It should've been one of those alternate universe boxes from Futurama :)

I have a small, polished round stone the size of a plum in one of my desk drawers. You'll find millions of them for free on almost any beach. This specific one, however, I picked up during a two-week camping roadtrip around Europe I went on with two friends in 2009. That was a marvelous journey of over 5000 km and I am the only person on this earth that puts any value on this little piece of mineral for reminding me of the fun, excitement and friendship experienced years ago.

See that's what I'm talking about! That is so awesome. I too have a small mineral that is egg shaped. It's white and I remember collecting it when I was really really tiny. One of my family members told me it was an "Eagle Egg" and I then tried to collect as many as I could thinking they were eagle eggs. It's just a silly memory, but I still love it. Thanks for sharing on that journey! Sounds fantastic actually. Lots of traveling too. You don't have to share... but which countries did you visit?

Your family making you keep their property clean of pesky stones :). I chuckled at "really tiny", that somehow evokes images of a shrunken adult, don't know why. We went through Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France and Germany in a 30 year old VW bus with a 40 year old caravan we restored ourselves. In France we drove 20 kph over mountains and burned out the glow plugs of the diesel engine which meant refueling with a running engine and push-starts when stalled. French beach was very much worth it, tho.

Wow! That is the definition of a classic adventure! How awesome! VW Buses are quite roomy too, but with a bunch of people, maybe no as much. I can only imagine all the issues the caravan posed with those issues, but looking back, all that made it fun and memorable! What an awesome trip through much of Europe. Neat you went to some countries people don't visit as much as well.
