Unfinished fanfiction genderswapping Joseph, Magneto's clone. The idea was going to be that the clone's entire experience of dealing with the X-Men would be radically different, because she wouldn't be mistaken for Magneto, ever; she'd be mistaken for an amnesiac long-lost daughter of Magneto. But she still has the same partial memories of being Magneto that Joseph had, and issues with gender identity, so deep down she's convinced they're wrong, and she feels intense guilt about it.

And then the real Magneto turns up.

In this piece, though, I didn't even get as far as the introduction with Rogue. I might get back to it, though, because I've recently had my interest in X-Men reawakened.

Art for the cover comes from X-Men Gender Swap by 3DNDC. The original had male Storm, Rogue, and Phoenix, and a female Magneto (who the artist referred to as Magneta, and can I mention how much I hate that name? A magneto is a real thing. A magneta is not. Either have her call herself Magneto anyway or give her a completely different name. In my genderswaps, she called herself Polaris, leaving the actual Polaris, who was also swapped, to call himself Magneto. Never got around to figuring out the name in movieverse though.)
