Backstage for "Angel" (Patreon)

I had a dream where there was a place where the power of God could not reach. God kept sending angels, but each of them would do nothing but scream, because as soon as they were outside the power of God, they lost their connection to God and couldn't bear it. Until the final angel came, and he screamed, "This is what I wanted!"

Also Bill Cipher was there and there was a screaming red star, but I didn't include any of that. :-)

The angel imagery is half-drawn from Evangelion, half from various surrealistic paintings and sculptures I've seen -- except for the final angel.
