Done and doing

- adding a few options to existing(but not yet seen) scenes

- working on updating some of the older Katara pics

- sketches for future sexy scenes!

- small changes to the battle engine interface

Since the coder has been at work including and extending things for book 2, I've had a nice bit of time to ponder about some of the battle interface elements. Pulling the code together and make something sensible to play every month adds a lot of overhead, but it's simply unavoidable if we want to give you guys something which isn't a haphazard mess.

Okay back to the battle interface. I've been trying to make it *slightly* better, without us having to recode it. First of all, whatever time we have we want to spend as effectively as possible and the possible bugs we could create by changing the underlying code scares me :)

So we did a simple redesign of the attack buttons and placed them somewhere else. This should result in the player having to move the mouse cursor a bit less. I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys think of it when you see it. Just keep in mind it's more of a subtle change.

Like we've said earlier we wanted to update some of the art for book 1. As much as I like the current design of Katara(and will miss her when she's gone) I've been working on a new one which is a bit more in line with the art of book 2.

A small sneakpeek  

It turns out I can reuse some of Katara's expressions. That's nice because getting the right expression again can take a long time and better yet, there'll still be some of the old Katara in the new one! 

Redoing Book 1's art takes time(lotsa), but it's going quicker than expected! It'll continue to be worked on simultaneously with Book 2.
