Also, Abby Cox who has a channel on YouTube and who talks about the history of fashion, did an entire video discussing how incredibly historically accurate the costumes in this movie were and the incredible attention to detail, giving the opinion that this movie should have won an academy award for best costume design.

I had to read A Christmas Carol in school, and thanks to both my lack of motivation to read any assigned book and the fact that I had been watching this movie since I could remember, I got solid Bs on all my Christmas carol assignments haha. This is such a great adaptation of the book! But there are a couple of adaptations I love just as much: "Scrooged!" a comedic live-action version starring Bill Murray as the scrooge, it's hilarious and so fun! And the 2019 "A Christmas Carol" starring Gay Pearce; a serious and genuinely spooky version of the story. I highly recommend both movies for anyone's Christmas watch list!
