I am definitely one of those people who does NOT think the sequel is better than the first one. Don't get me wrong, I still really like this movie, but Debbie is definitely the weakest part of the movie for me and the fact that the movie spends so much time with her is what brings it down a little bit for me. I would much rather have spent more time with the family than with her. Usually when I rewatch this movie I just skip past that whole ending scene. And personally, one of the things that I find unintentionally laughable about that ending scene is the fact that she's threatening them with electrocution. As we saw in the first movie, and as we saw in this movie with Fester and the bathtub, electrocuting each other is something that this family does for FUN. I don't know exactly what COULD kill these people, but clearly there are a lot of things that DON'T kill these people, so the entire time I see that scene I just think to myself "Yeah go ahead and do it, throw the switch, it won't hurt them"😆 And the new Netflix show 'Wednesday' is going to be a series, not a movie. It's going to follow Wednesday during high school years. I hear that Christina Ricci is going to be in it. She won't be playing Wednesday, she'll be playing some other character I think... But she will be in it.
