Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas- Thank you so very much for such a fun reaction for a phenomenal Christmas classic I love so much, Nick!! Whether Dr. Seuss would have appreciated this film adaptation of his beloved classic or not, I really love this movie. It's beautifully written and incredibly acted by all cast members. Of course Jim Carrey is phenomenal as the Grinch. And Max is so adorable. I love that he is actually played by a real dog, and that he isn't just computer animated like so many other animal movies do. And Taylor Momsen who plays Cindy Lou Who is absolutely adorable and is a tremendously talented little actress. Christine Baranski who plays Martha May Whovier, and Molly Shannon who plays Betty Lou Who are all also really great in this movie too. Oh... and of course Anthony Hopkins is a perfect choice to voice the narrator telling us this beautiful story. However, for me... Bill Irwin who plays Lou Lou Who is my favorite character outside of the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. I really love his character. One of my favorite moments is when when Lou defends his daughter after Mayor May Who cruelly accuses her of being nothing more than a foolish girl. I love when he finally comes to understand what Cindy has been trying to teach everyone. And he's just so sweet and funny too. Bill Irwin is a great actor, in this movie and in many others and TV shows as well. :) Also... I just absolutely love this movie's overall story, its themes and messages, its visuals, its humor, and of course I love the music. I especially love Faith Hill's version of the song Cindy Lou sings early on within this movie... Where Are You Christmas, played within the credits. What a beautiful message to be taken from this beautiful song. Overall... I just really love this movie and everything about it. And Ron Howard's directing of this movie is incredible. He's a phenomenal movie director and I really love pretty much every movie he's ever created. I absolutely love this movie's take and expansion on the original cartoon and book written by Dr. Seuss. I love that we get to see his backstory on why he truly comes to hate Christmas, and I love that we get to see so much more than just the beautiful story we see in the original cartoon and book. Most of all, I love the nostalgic feeling this movie brings me every time I watch it. I graduated from high school the year after this movie came out back in 2000, and yet it always makes me feel like it's a movie I have watched ever since I was a little girl, just like I was back when I watched the cartoon every year with my family. So, thank you very much for watching this movie for me! I really loved watching your reaction for it, Nick. And now... I can't wait for your next Christmas movie reaction for Scrooge some time this month as well!!! Until your next movie reactions... Sincerely, Heidi

This movie is great, but then I love Jim Cary in anything. Thank you so much for reacting to this one, Nick. The song Cindy Lou Who sings, Where Are You Christmas, has a radio version by Faith Hill, and it's gorgeous. Here's a link to it on Youtube. Give it a listen sometime. It's one of my favorite Christmas songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt3Y3HJpXQs If you're looking for some other Christmas classics, here's a few more I'd love to see you react to: The Santa Clause (Tim Allen) The Santa Clause 2 (Tim Allen, and the second film is as good as the first, if not better) One Magical Christmas (80s classic) Santa Clause: The Movie (another 80s movie, and my favorite Christmas film. It's a bit dated and cheesy, but it's beautifully done. Oh, and bring tissues, watching One Magical Christmas. It packs a hell of an ugly cry punch.

Love this movie. It's a classic. Great movie and so is your reaction. For the holiday season I suggest Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas.

Something I noticed. Before the Grinch destroyed the Christmas tree when he is the holiday cheermaster, he tells all the Whos about how he gets a lot of the gifts in the trash that they don’t want or like after Christmas . Which begs the question, where does Max come from?
