Haha😁 never apologize for being honest Nick. Honestly, when I saw that you posted this I thought to myself "What?! The Ernest movies are somewhat niche in their type of comedy - a kind of that you're either going to love or hate, and most of us discovered these movies when we were children when this kind of stuff was funny to us. But Nick watching this movie NOW? * with a wary tone to my voice* .... I don't know. If he hasn't seen any of the other move Ernest movies before and already decided that he likes this sort of thing then....I really don't know how he's going to feel about this😕". All of which is to say that your reaction doesn't surprise me at all. I remember liking some of the Ernest movies as a kid, including this one, but as an adult I can completely see why so much of it is beyond cringy to watch.

Well when this came out it was a dark kids horror film which was fairly new at the time and the special effects were ahead of its time. It’s a fun movie if you don’t take it serious but I understand not getting it since you didn’t grow up with it but it’s a great movie to show kids and watch it with them.
