I knew this would be a great reaction, and you did not disappoint, Nick. This is my favorite movie out of the four, and watching it with you made it even more fun. You mentioned that the Fairy Godmother put the curse on Fiona, causing her to turn into an ogre every night. I was going to correct you and tell you that it wasn't. In the first movie, Fiona said it was a witch who cast a spell on her. But now that you said that, I just realized something. It's possible that the Fairy Godmother did it. She would have had to take on the persona of a witch to do it, but she could have, planning even from when Fiona was little, for her to marry her son. The Fairy Godmother would have done this without telling the dad, and then when he saw what happens to his daughter, she would have showed up pretending to help him. She may have orchestrated the whole thing. Which would be one hell of a twist. It would particularly make sense since she helped the dad find true love by turning him from a frog into a prince. She would have kept track of him, and when he had a daughter, she would have decided the daughter was a match for Prince Charming. It fits. That is so freaky, and it makes her even more diabolical. I'm guessing you saw that Pussy in Boots was voiced by Antonio Banderas, because they showed it in the credits. Had he taken the potion, he probably would have looked a little like Antonio. Which would have meant he'd be as sexy as Shrek and Donkey. LOL Oh, did you pick up on what they did with Puss's character? I don't know how familiar you are with Zorro, but it's an action hero from, I think, the fifties or something. Way back, when TV was black and white. There was a movie that came out in the nineties, The Mask of Zorro, based on the character, and in the movie, Antonio Banderas played Zorro. Puss is a play off of Antonio's version of Zorro. Speaking of Zorro, you should totally react to The Mask of Zorro. I think you'll be able to pick on the similarities between Zorro and Puss, catching a lot of the Easter eggs that call back to The Mask of Zorro in this movie. Also, did you notice the foreshadowing that the father was once a frog? Earlier in the movie, when he was at the tavern the first time to talk to Puss, there was a female frog sitting on a stool. She asked him if she knew him from somewhere, and he said she must be mistaking him for someone else. :D I love the casting of John Cleese and Julie Andrews as Fiona's mom and dad in this. They seem like they'd be a really odd mixture as actors, but they played off each other really well in this. They both have such great comedic timing. Oh. There is an additional scene on some versions of this movie. After the credits are over. If it's there, check it out. It's really funny, If it isn't there, let me know and I'll see if I can find it for you. Again, great reaction, Nick. This was so much fun.

I agree! I enjoy aspects of all the films (I actually love the third, now, more than originally), but the second one is definitely my favorite/ the one which I've gone back to re-watch the most and has the most quotable moments. It's hilarious and heartfelt with the writing being top notch. 💚

Also, the score and soundtrack for this film is PERFECT.

I've always wondered what happened to the dragon when Donkey changed
