Even though I don't agree with basically anything Sangwoo did, I still cried when he died this episode. It also made me emotional cause similar to Ali's last words being "brother" to Sang woo, one of Sangwoo's last moments was calling Gi-Hun "brother" like he used to when they were younger. I don't remember Sangwoo calling him "hyung/brother" before many times in the series so it hit me hard. It reminded me of the fact that Sangwoo was still part of Gi-Hun's family and now he's gone too

Sangwoo is the only that knew only one could make, hence why he was looking at the player count all the time. He was right however bad it sound to have killed the girl and make the main character wanna play since he would have quit the game before hurting her, which would have made it all for nothing. Imo he was the most dedicated to actually win the game while the others somewhat stayed naive and had half assed determination. Lets not forget they all chose to go back to the game and imo Sangwoo was the only one not being a hypocrite. Lets not forget the main character litterly in his mind tricked to old man to die for him when push came to shove. Survival instincts are no joke and in the end Sangwoo made the ultimate sacrifice and chose his mother over himself.
