I watched this on my own before watching your reaction and I didn’t really like it either. I love the Disney version though so I’m hoping you will like that version at least

You too. Come on it’s a classic action adventure film. Plus it is a million times better than the versions that completely miss the mark and go for dark, broody, and depressing where the story is supposed to be uplifting and give you hope for a dashing young hero set to right wrongs done to his countrymen. Those bad ones include: Robin and Marian, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Robin Hood (with Russell Crowe), and the one with Jamie Foxx.
