I actually had to take notes because there were so many things I wanted to comment on :P Apologies for the long-ass comment. First of all, thank you so much for doing this show and finishing it in such a style. I discovered your channel thanks to ATLA and I'm so glad I did cause your reactions are always so genuine and joyful and it's just so great to watch you enjoy stuff especially when most of the internet thrives on criticising things. Your reactions made me realize it's okay to just enjoy stuff without overthinking it and made me personally much happier when consuming entertainment so thank you! I actually feel the same as you about episode 17 - I think it's good compared to other shows, but I don't think it's that good compared to what ATLA got us used to XD definitely the best recap episode I've seen but not that great (also considering it's sandwiched between Southern Raiders and Sozin's Comet, which are objectively best episodes in the whole show). As for you talking - yeah I personally loved hearing you talk about the episodes before and after and now you kind of made me want to see those missing minutes about Southern Raiders :P Going back to Sozin's Comet though - I love (and highly recommend) Xiran Jay Zhao's videos on youtube talking about Asian (mostly Chinese) influence and there she makes just the best point in that if Aang killed Ozai, even though he'd have been justified to do so, he'd be proving Ozai right. He'd confirm what Ozai was saying - that the Air Nomads were weak, that they didn't have the place in the world. By defeating him without killing, by defeating him while staying true to Air Nomad philosophy, he proved that no. Strength isn't everything, violence isn't the answer and his people were right, were strong and didn't deserve what happened to them. And that's just such an amazing message to have in your kid's show XD (Also sidenote but I have spent the entire time watching your reactions, from book 1, anticipating you reacting to Zuko's apology and Kataang ending <3)

Also also, can we talk about the last Agni Kai. I see a lot of people say Zuko lost or that "they had to make Azula go insane for Zuko to have a shot" and I just feel like that's not what it was at all? First of all, in every fight after the Firebending Masters, Zuko was very explicitly an even match for Azula. You can see it in Southern Raiders especially, he's able to calmly break her every attack and while he wasn't able to defeat her, it was a very explicit draw. Then, Azula's mental break didn't happen out of nowhere. It was also very explicitly the result of Mai and Ty Lee's betrayal and that happened because of how Azula constructed her life and relationships - based on fear, not love. Her losing it wasn't some kind of "unfair advantage" to make her weaker - it was the weakness she ALWAYS had come to light. And finally, Zuko didn't lose the Agni Kai. Azula lost the moment she targeted Katara. In fight with Zuko, whose whole arc was about regaining his honour, she acted without honour by targeting someone outside of their duel. It just drove home what Iroh had said - even in exile, even with the whole Fire Nation thinking he was a traitor, Zuko still had unquestionable honour. That being said Azula is in the end a tragic character and I love how the show doesn't make you feel happy with her defeat - you're just sad and full of pity as she cries and breaks down. In the end, she was a 14 years old girl trying to live in an extremely abusive household and being betrayed by the only person that mattered to her. When Ozai left her behind, her whole world - which she created and ruled just to please her father - must have broken down. Okay I promise that's all now sorry for how long this comment is XD
