Fleshing out the northern area of the First Stratum you will fall into after the first act of the game. I'm focusing on the sense of scale and on making it look much wilder than the previous one!

There are already thundering Mana Eels, Harpies, dwarven soldiers, and ... see the ones in pic?

While Kaere used to buy poor little Melmos to experiment on, in the First Stratum you will also find their nasty nests! They'll spread around rivers and ponds if you don't keep them in check, killing fish and even infesting areas where people live! yikes!

I'm also completely rehauling the battle system, so it won't be as convoluted and will allow for units to behave in unique ways. The Crossbowmen there can shoot darts at Neneko without moving (if she becomes an enemy of their faction) and will start chasing her down once she gets too close, keeping themselves at the right distance to plant a dart in her while staying out of her claws' reach.
Combining them with Berserker flailing their axes on your face will be fun!

Since this is getting VERY INTENSE, tonight I've indulged myself and gave the cute maid Abigail a whole new set of sprites! She's much cuter now, and that's what you're here for!
