So, it's time to share more details about the scope of this project.

As you may have guessed the main point of this game is going down a big gaping hole in the ground (think of Alice, or Made in Abyss).

Or actually... "going down?"

While Neneko's story will be clearly pointing you to reach the depths of the Hole to retrieve your brother, the game will be filled with characters with different aims and motives.

The starting trio of "main" girls, you'll get to know (🐸Kaere, 🐮Shina, and 🦇Anzu) will get easily involved in your tribulations, but...

Is any of the girls necessary to proceed down?

No.

Meeting characters and solving their questline for that "Stratum" (there are 6 Strata planned, including the Surface one) will make their story proceed to the next step, but that doesn't mean they'll want to join you.

Spurring the passive 🐮Shina into action won't make her want to join you... at all! But that will be necessary if you want her to start going after her true desires in the Hole.

Is there a set time I have to spend in a Stratum before moving on?

No. 

You could (if you've got the skillz) clear the Surface part of Neneko's Adventure in around 2-3 hours, but every Stratum will have tens of hours of content in it.

I plan to have Stratum-specific housings and jobs for the player, so you'll be able to spend as much time as you want in a Stratum before deciding if you're really willing to move on into an (always) more fucked up, difficult, and wild way of life.

Let me get this straight. Is this an eroge?

Yes. By all means.

But I believe that, in order to make this adventure memorable, that can't be all of it.
I want to create a world that follows its own rules, and by knowing those rules, you will be able to go at it as you like for that playthrough. 

Completely irrelevant if you're here for the lewdness, but I've been fleshing out End City's houses during the past couple of weeks.
Since not much mana reaches the Surface, the people there can only use it for minor chores, like cooking or bringing water to their homes.

So every aspect of a Stratum (characters, wildlife, climate, NSFW content) will strictly depend on how Mana influences life there.

Mana-Powered tools: Going down we'll gradually move from basic tools to literal mega-machines, powered by the Mana coming from the bottom of the Hole!

Monsters: Stronger, smarter, but not always meaner. The boundary between heroic "Hole Divers" and monsters will become fuzzier as you go deeper!

NSFW content: Mana does all sorts of things to a catgirl's body. All. Sorts. Of things🍆.

Can I keep Neneko pure?

Yes.

While we're giving a lot of care to the NSFW scenes, there will always be an alternative way to proceed.

At the beginning of the game, you won't be allowed to enter End City to go after the kidnappers. The guards at the gate want to be sure the dangerous monster that has been spotted that night is dealt with.

At that time you can either:

• deal with the monster
• calm the monster down
• ♥️ deal ♥️ with the guard
