The big guy in the middle is a Burilla, a huge softie coming from the 1st Strata of the Hole. Needless to say, it's too big to not be a worry for the Self Defence Force, so you may be requested to deal with it!

Usually peaceful and tame, its by far the stronger monster you'll find in the Surface Stratum, you don't want to get on its wrong side as fighting it will mean (most of the times) you'll get squished into a furry pancake.

Hunting a Burilla is hardly a good idea, regardless of the prize, but (maybe?) managing to wake the beast up will help our Neko know more about the Hole she's about to dive in?

And let me drop another piece of truth right here.
There's no EXP from killing monsters / completing quests in the game in order to level up your character(s)!

Infusing your catgirl with some rare items, like Mana Stones

will result in a Level Up, increasing her stats and unlocking more combos!
