As an aside, for my fellow MTG folks in the know: I originally intended for this drawing to be set during the events of "Monster", a short story where Jace approaches Garruk to convince him to come back and have the chain veil curse fixed. So, there's an extra set of alts with Garruk looking all cursed, purple-eye glowy and with purple magic veins on him as a set of extra alts.
