Simple light setups. Most of the time just one or two lamps.

Light makeup-no-makeup or even better no makeup at all.

No hair styling. Mostly just loose hair or pulled hair.

Basic clothes. Very rarely anything fancy or distracting

Plain backgrounds that are easy to change.

This is how we would shoot many of our test shoots for the model agencies in Paris. With sessions like these it was important for us to have predictable results and have them fast. Often with many shoots like there during the week we wanted to cut all of the unnecessary elements that take a lot of time and just concentrate on part that is the most fun and that's working with the model on set.
