Awww man, LOVE this movie. You're right that an innocent fish out of water story is a pretty solid foundation and wow, Brenden does a great job (you know now that I think about it, his first film, Encino Man is kind of an extreme version of this same story so I guess he had some practice). Two things: Dave Foley, the actor who plays Troy, is one of my all-time favorite comedic actors initially famous for being part of the highly influential sketch comedy group, The Kids in the Hall (the revival season is great if you guys wanna check out some insanity). And since I'm always trying to get you guys to watch David Lynch, Sissy Spacek stars in the most normal film he's ever done, The Straight Story which is rated G and happens to be awesome.

I love this movie so much, and your reaction is awesome!!! Brendan Fraser is incredible in his role. My favorite scene is when Adam is cleaning up Eve's scraped knee. He is much more mature and confident in that sweet moment. It's a lot like he is in real life, during interviews, etc. FYI, most people pronounce his last name wrong. It's not pronounced Frasier with an 'i' in it... it's FRA-ZER. Although, I've never seen him complain about it or correct anyone! He's an incredible actor and was perfect for this role. I hope he is back to stay in Hollywood. He should have always been there. All the movies he could have been in, or directed himself even... such a loss! He so deserved his Oscar for 'The Whale'! Whatever he does next, I'm ready for it! But 'Blast From the Past' will always be my favorite!!!
