The painting was originally done around 1880 by Gabriel Cornelius Ritter Von Max. It’s called Saint Veronica’s Handkerchief. The print goes for anywhere between $40 to over $600 depending on size and framing. According to Church tradition, Veronica was moved with sympathy seeing Jesus carrying the cross to Calvary and gave him her veil so that he could wipe his forehead. Jesus accepted the offer, and when he returned the veil the image of his face was miraculously captured on it. The resulting relic became known as the Veil of Veronica. The 4 foot Bart Simpson doll was manufactured between 2000-2009. People on Ebay try to sell them for anywhere from $200 to $1,000 According to Simpson tradition Bart’s height is supposed to be 4 feet tall. Daniel’s fear of them both…….Priceless!
