what a great film! JK Simmons deserved that oscar--he was sooooo intense!!!

Miles Teller also played Willard in the 2011 version of Footloose! I'm an '80s baby and love the original Footloose, however, I love the 2011 version so much more! The newer movie is more country in its music than the original. Miles Teller is fantastic in it, too! He's such an awesome dancer. The director even called Miles his secret weapon! Miles played drums as a kid along with piano, and saxophone. He had to brush up on drums for this movie, and the piano for Top Gun: Maverick (2022). He actually played the piano and sang 'Great Balls of Fire' in the movie. It's even on the soundtrack! Miles Teller's scars are VERY real! He got in a crazy bad car accident driving from NYU to his parent's house in FL. He was ejected from the vehicle through the windshield and was covered in glass and bleeding profusely! He was damn lucky to have survived! He's now had many reconstructive surgeries to help get rid of the scarring. He had a hard time getting roles at first because of it. His first film was Rabbit Hole (2010). He played a teenager who was driving and hit and killed a little boy. His scars actually helped him to get that role! Now that he's shown what a great actor he is! He's gotten so many more roles! The Directors aren't so worried about his scars, anymore! Miles is so talented all around! I'm a musician myself, and I just love seeing someone so passionate about their craft! I have loved all of his movies, but Top Gun: Maverick is by far my favorite!
