I've never liked this movie, but I've seen it so many times. I've had friends that always wanted to watch it. And I enjoy looking at boobs so I tolerate it. But I really love the remake. It's one of my favorite movies this year after THE FALL GUY.

Great reactions, Sam and Dan! As noted earlier in the comments; a road house bar is an inn, restaurant, or nightclub located on a road outside a town or city limits. Usually, to avoid any local rules or regulations pertaining to the quality or type of entertainment / food or drinks. Most of the ones I’ve been to have been a step or two above dive bars. The waitress you two were trying to identify is Carrie, played by Kathleen Wilhoite. She’s basically a female version of a “character actor”. I can’t think of anything in which she’s been top billed. But she always does a good job in whatever she’s in. I doubt I’ll watch the remake, because…why? I’m not really into watching a lot of remakes, especially for movies which (in my opinion) don’t really need it. Not a big fan of “updated for a modern audience” remakes, such as “West Side Story” (2021), “Carrie” (2013), etc.). Two big exceptions to my above preference: “Ben-Hur” (1959) remake of “Ben Hur: A Tale of the Christ” (1925), and “I Am Legend” (2007) which was a remake of “The Omega Man” (1971) which itself was a remake of “The Last Man on Earth” (1964), which was an adaptation of Richard Matheson’s book, “I Am Legend”. I didn’t watch the remake of “Ben Hur”(2016), nor will I watch the sequel to “I Am Legend” (no release date yet). Same for “Gladiator 2” (due sometime this year). The stories were done. Why try to make franchises out of them?
