Heck yeah! One of my favorite Nolan's. Watchin' right meow.

Another great Dunkirk-related movie is Atonement

I always get choked up by the end of this film. The sacrifices that the Royal Air Force made to defend the skies over Dunkirk, sometimes being outnumbered 10-1 by the Luftwaffe. After the battle ended, Winston Churchill said it best: "Never was so much owed by so many to so few."

Highly recommend Insomnia (2002), which is Christopher Nolan's third film and features great performances from both Al Pacino and Robin Williams. Wasn't crazy about Tenet the first time I saw it but if you two react to it I'll give it another shot. His first film was a low - budget film called Following (1998) which I've never seen.

Great movie that absolutely sets the tense atmosphere. The German dive bombers (the Ju-87 Stuka) depicted here were purposefully fitted with an air siren to make that haunting shrieking noise whenever they entered into a dive. It was intended to amplify the terror element.

You must watch “The Banshees of Inisherin” if you like Barry Keoghan

I saw this in theaters with my grandfather (World War II Navy vet). The sound of the Stuka dive bombers were so loud your whole body tensed up in your seat. Seeing the ending, the Miracle at Dunkirk, always makes me teary eyed at the number of proud Englishmen who stepped up to go rescue their boys from annihilation. One of Nolan's three best movies, in my opinion.

This is a great reaction, especially your silence during the deep, quiet emotion of the final ten minutes. Also, Hans Zimmer’s variation of Elgar’s “Nimrod” is amazing.

I have the exact opinion of Tenet. There’s brilliance in there if you can pretend to care about the characters.

I think the Schmitts made me love this movie more than already did before :)

Fun fact. Mark Rylance's character is based on Charles Lightoller. He was 2nd officer on the Titanic.

Garfield even quoted that with bathtub soap bubbles once.
