Nileya Animated - Catwalk (Patreon)

Finally completed, and looking (I think) really nice! Here we see Nileya Nidessa Nijhar strolling through the streets of Downtown Spring Valley in her minidress, clutch in hand, probably on what looks to me like a shopping trip. I bet she’s buying something nice for Evelyn ❤️

This one was a big learning experience for me (evidenced by just how long it took me to complete I suppose), requiring me to apply concepts I’d already explored in previous animations while also learning and applying new concepts. A walk is very mechanical but also very artistic, capturing that movement, character and bounce. Whether or not I succeeded in those goals, at least I know for sure that this is the best that I can do right now—and, without a doubt, the more I animate, the better I get at it. Suffice it to say, I’m looking forward to what comes next.

The biggest downside is how much time I spent studying, editing and redrawing things to get this just right. In the end, I’d like to think it was worth it, but that also means I’m way behind on the other drawings and comics I wanted to do this month!

Like the other traditional animations so far, this animation will be available shortly for everyone to use as an animated sticker via Discord 😋 so I hope that at least makes it worth the wait a little bit hahaha.
