There’s so much to say, I don’t know where to start 😂 Okay, let’s start with this animation!

So I did another Evelyn animation! Unlike the other animations though (rigged and animated using Spine 2D), this animation was animated using traditional techniques in ClipStudio. I made this because I want to do more with animation and also as a fun little treat for our Discord users (this will be available shortly as a sticker on our server!). This is my first full animated loop done using traditional techniques and wooow I learned a lot! Without getting too technical, by the end, my little workflow was so efficient, and I could see where I can save time and make better decisions in the future.

You all had such great ideas for future animations, I honestly wrote them all down. Rather than leaving it to a vote, I’ll instead be choosing from which animations are most practical for now, or which will help me develop my skills further. I will however be posting a poll for which emojis we’d like to see, so hey, let’s discuss that now! Post your emoji ideas here, or message me via Patreon, Discord or email!

All that fun stuff aside, it’s a new month and a new year, which means we should be discussing new plans.

All patrons will receive new Reward folders for the month of January. These will give you access to the ongoing mother/daughter illustration series, more animation sneak peeks, and an as-of-yet unannounced short comic for this month (the 6-page thing is really working for me) so keep an eye out for those details as I’m ready to share them. The new Reward folders will go out this weekend—as soon as I have something fun to slip in there for you 😛

In beginning the new mother/daughter series, I kind of fell in love with the premise hard, so we’re actually extending that one. More illustrations, a little more plot. All that good stuff. As far as I can tell, you all seem to enjoy the premise, so I don’t think that development will be met with many complaints (not that you ever complain ❤️)

Uh… this was a bit of a meandering slog to get through, huh? I’m going to be fairly busy this Friday so I wanted to make sure I got all this stuff out now rather than later. So yeah! More clear, concise update coming later this weekend! Let me know about those emojis, and I hope you all enjoy the new animated works!

A bit too fast to enjoy the full animation, but it does looks like it is smooth process.

Definitely! I was surprised at how it ended up exporting lol. Lessons learned! I’ll try to space it out a bit and re-export it.
