Evelyn’s Animated Pillow Ride, Turnaround, June Update (Patreon)

Hey all, thank you for bearing with me during my break! I said I’d work on Short Shorts during my time off… I clearly didn’t 😅 But that time off was very rejuvenating, so there’s that at least lol

Instead, I indulged in some experiments and side projects during my time off. I won’t be sharing ALL of them, but I DO want to share some new animated goodies!

As you can see, we’ve got an animated sketch of Evelyn riding her pillow now ❤️ but we’ve also got a whole new Evelyn character sheet to match the less “Striptease” style. I wanted to assemble this new sheet and turnaround so I can do more detailed animations, closer to the look of our comics and Short Shorts. And I think the it worked!

To illustrate the effectiveness of the work I put into the character sheet… the original turnaround took about 4 days to make 😰 but Evelyn's Pillow Ride only took a single day to animate! 😃 These character sheets can take a lot of work and consideration, but they really make animating much easier!

Anyway, I’m considering making animated sketches like these a regular part of our Short Shorts content moving forward, so consider this a proof of concept for your enjoyment 😋

June Update & Reward Folders

For new and returning patrons, I’ll be sending out last month’s reward folders immediately. There’s a good chance many of you have these already. Anyway, this month is all about community contributions! The emphasis is on Short Shorts—since they’re quick and fun and give us lots of new stories and drawings with a fast turnaround. We’re going to complete the present itinerary and start a new one with the help of our Short Shorts Club when all the current images are complete.

In addition to that, and in the spirit of community, I have two commission projects that I’m going to be bringing to you starting this month. I’m not sure in which order yet though, but when I have a clear idea on delivery, I’ll be distributing some new, late reward folders this month for our Lovely+ Tier patrons.

I’ll probably get started on new Coconut Cream Pie pages very late this month, but I hope all the other quick turnaround goodies will help tie you over until we can return to the farm to hang out with Angel and the boys 🥥🤎 If I hadn’t taken some time off, I’d be more eager to jump right back into this story… but since this pages take a bit longer to produce sometimes, I’m presently more interested in bringing you lots of sketches and other content to fill that gap.
