Shinji Ikari wips (Patreon)

Hey there last month was nuts, for some reason everything was happing at once. It's a bit overdue but here is some wips for Shinji!

First off these evangelion models are a bit of a hassle to edit. Just look at how many face bones this guy has!

You can't even see his face lol

Unlike the Misato model I'll deal with the face bones near the end.

So first I create a new body base for him. Lucky the plugsuit version leaves little to the imagination.

This body base for males I like to use cause it got generic male anime body. from that I change the proportions and sizes some part.

got it as close as I can get it.

Next up I combine the rig to the face to the new rig and attached the head to the new body.

Then I smoothed out the neck and bam! Shinji is ready for the beach. 

I'll fix the textures later.

From there I edited the clothes to fit the new body

Now trying to refit skintight outfits over new bodies is always messy. So version with him in the plugsuits are going to be separate model and maybe different IK rig but it will still come with all the accessories I usually do

I'll just make a copy of the head with all the shape keys and pair it to that rig.

Also 13 plugsuit is coming too

As for the casual outfits we got this.

and for fun I added an extra shirt cause it's iconic

I'm also working on a wore-it-only-once-but-I-love-it outfit

hopefully I'll get it out before the poll ends but we'll see if my life starts to calm down

BTW I'm working on Gohan model for a commission
