As the most powerful summoner on the Mainland, EX is the only summoner who can perform otherworldly summons.

Thus EX is a transcendent being who can peek into different dimensions of the world. 

Frustrated by the destruction of his homeland, he has gone through tens of thousands of time reversals and tried various methods to come to the conclusion that the people of their world cannot change the predetermined future.

So he discovers that in a distant other world there is a being called the "Player", and that the "Player" is the only one who can save their future.

So you have been summoned to the Otherworld. ;)
