I have a few saved images on my phone that are really important Disney moments for me, but separatly don’t warrant a big story. I figured I could just post them all together and talk a little bit about each.

The first one was taken sitting on the bench of the Walt Disney museum in SF. Visiting that museum was amazing. I easily could have spent the whole day there and i honestly should have. I have been wanting to go back ever since. This bench is from Griffith park where Walt use to take his kids to play on the weekend. He would sit on a bench and day dream. The story is that he likely thought up the idea of the Disney parks on a bench just like this. The bench itself isn’t that special but sitting there still was. It made me think about how creativity can come from the most simple place with just a bit of imagination (cheesy, I know)

The second picture is also from the museum and it’s the earliest known drawing of Mickey Mouse. Seeing this was much cooler than seeing anything at the louvre in Paris. I was awestruck.

The third picture is my childhood bedroom and even though I’ve post this before, it’s pretty clear that Disney has been in my blood for a long time. I remember my grandmother buying me little mermaid dolls to play with in the tub.

The last picture is pretty insignificant but I didn’t know that fake snow was a thing at Disney so when this happened I almost cried. You all know I’m not a Christmas kinda guys so getting me to feel anything around this time of year is nearly impossible. I was pretty smitten with Disney at this point so when this happened I just couldn’t believe how magical this place really was.

So yeah, I just wanted to share a bit more about myself and Disney on this wonderful Thursday ♥️
