TLDR/Spoiler: I’m moving in December and it’s scary and exciting.

OK, so I have something pretty exciting to tell all of you. It’s some thing I’ve been holding close past few months because I wasn’t sure if it would really happen. I feel like I’m really building this up, even though it’s really not a big deal at all. Let me cut to the chase and then I’ll talk about it after.

I’m moving!

During Covid I realize that there was no way I could continue to live in an apartment. My bedroom was my gym, my cosplay room, my video editing room, my photo studio, the place where I watch TV, play Summer Place video games, place where I sleep, and likely a few more things as well.

I spent most of Covid it looking for new apartments and when I say that I mess I looked nearly everyday for over a year. There was never any real rush, but it was more of just me being aspirational.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, our rent recently went up to an amount we couldn’t afford so my roommate and I were forced to figure something new out in the past three months. That really lit a fire under my ass and I’m happy to say that I have found a new place to call home and I move in mid November/ December!

The bad news is that I’m leaving the city and moving a bit further away than I would like. But that’s the cost of finding something more affordable.

The good news is that it’s a whole house and it cost less monthly than our current apartment! That means I’m going to get 2.5 rooms to myself! That means I’ll finally get a room for making cosplay and can get back to falling in love with costuming and content creation again. I can’t even being to tell you all how good this is going to be for my mental health! IM SO excited!

And done worry, I’m sure I’ll do a drunk video giving you all a tour! I’ll talk more about it as the day comes closer, but yeah, I just wanted to let you all know!!

Congratulations on the new place. I realize being out of the city may not be what you want but affordability and more space sound great. Best of luck on the move and hopefully everything goes smoothly!!

Oh! No more of this amazing rear views to the neighbors across the street, they are going to miss that a lot... I am glad we still can see it on here... ;-)
