Pure 0.235 / bugfixes (Patreon)

Pure 0.235 is a complete package. You don't need 0.234 for it!

Pure 0.235 has the same install procedure like Pure 0.222!

So please follow the 0.222 video and use the newer versions of CSP and Pure!

Pure Planner

  • removed "record time/date changes" options from the settings.
  • solved a lot of bugs in the time management with CSP 0.2.2 and later
  • plans start in Hotlap, Practice, Weekends... if going to drive from the menu
  • added a message if live weather data is not available
  • fixed a bug in live mode, not setting the right timeszone at session start
  • locked plan to "Day" in online override mode
  • greyed out time and date in online override mode
  • fixed some UI bugs, when changing time in different modes
  • added some failsafes if files are corrupt or empty

Pure Config

  • added a check for a deactiavted Yebisest (an obsolete modul, but needed to be checked)

Pure Controller

  • fixed a halt, when "Random" is selected in "Cm weather"
  • fixed a typo in the CM menu

Highres version (16k skydomes set) / 2.5GB:
mega: Pure 0.235 Highres
mediafire: Pure 0.235 Highres

Actually,   the highres skydomes have no influence on your FPS. Also, only 2 textures are buffered in your GPU's VRAM. So it will only take 128MB of   VRAM. But if you want to check with smaller skydome textures, or you   don't have the internet connection to download a 2.5 GB file, please  use  the Lowres pack (730 MB).
Lowres version (4k skydomes set) / 730 MB:

mediafire: Pure 0.235 Lowres

So i noticed that when you uninstall pure usung the uninstall.bat file, it still leaves files behind. Is that correct or am I Doing something wrong?

PP filters and in assetto corsa/system/extention/pure, which causes the pure option to still display in the weather script selection screen in CM. Also the uninstall pure.bat CMD prompt doesnt show anything and closes almost instantly when I selected the AC root folder. But this brings me to my main question, it it necessary to uninstall the old version manually when updating?

No. The uninstaller additionally removes your settings. YOu only need the installer. It will also remove older pure parts, but will not touch your settings. Thats why i never mentioned to use the uninstaller in any install video. Also if you run the uninstaller, it will also tell you this: https://www.screenpresso.com/=eWfLb

No problem. I fixed some bugs now in this bat. I corrected the spelling and added some missing parts. Could you try to run the bat in a CMD window. So maybe there is an error string visible....

Hello, thank you about your Pure 0.235. My only problem is overexposure with the HDR filter as well. I can only use the HDR pure/eye filter. What's wrong ? Thanks again

Hello, many thanks for the pure 0.235. Can someone confirm if Thunder lightning and heavy weathers like heavy rain and heavy thunderstorm are working properly? it might be me but before they did not work. thank you

Thanks for the update regarding Lightning Peter. with regards to rain, i am sorted because i do get rain and wetness but if i select LIGHT THUNDERSTORM OR LIGHT RAIN i get Broken clouds weather always. i took some screenshots that can demonstrate this better than i can explain it but i dont know how to share them with you.

hi peter, i know this isnt the place to ask about rain but i have a question, why dont i see the "debug rain" option in my weather fx ? i have the latest csp preview, my controller is on sol 2.5 and i only have the sounds of the rain, you know any reason for this?

with the new changes to NeckFX, any tips on how to replicate our old neckfx? i'm way too used to my current neckfx, and now since switching to the new neckfx updates in this pure, its all messed up. any settings to make it similar our old settings?

Could be that it is not working on all PCs. But you can use the installer, it will also remove older parts of Pure.

Hi Peter, thank you for the update! When the sun is in my field of view, it flickers. This only happens when the sun is on its own and not behind by clouds. Do you happen to know a fix for this?

hello peter thanks for the amazing work I have been a member of your community from past 7 to 8 months and this is the first time i had this issue, Whenever i click on uninstall_pure file and locate my ac folder it just stops did it many times but it closes/stops everytime and nothing is unintalled. Plz can u specify the reason for this? Thanks for your time.

you cant drag and drop, you have to go assetto corsa root folder, drag "extension" and "dwrite.dll" into the root folder and you should have it

My VR is being bottlenecked by my CPU on multiple tracks at different areas. Don't think this happened in the past. Do the filters put a load on the CPU? Using a Pimax crystal, 4090 and i9 13900k.

Actually Pure Planner is already capable of it, but you need to edit the controls ini for yourself or we wait for the release of the "extended controls" app. Controls can be edited much much easier with it and it already has a support for 3rd party apps, which Pure Planner already has integrated.

I'm from Japan, but when I set the time in the content manager and start it, the time is off by 9 hours. This was not the case in previous versions. What settings should I change to make it normal?

Peter please help, so i tried to join a no hesi server and i kept getting checksum failed error (not the main problem) then someone told me to reinstall pure so i deleted it with the uninstallpure.bat file then i reinstalled it and it didnt work pure didnt show up nothing not in weather fx weather control nowhere

yes. It's the same phenomenon with trucks in any country. If you look at the pit menu, the specified time will be displayed for a moment, and then -9 hours will be displayed.

Hello Peter, i am up to date with CSP and PURE and now i have this weird issue that even when I set the weather to Pure static and lets say Broken Clouds after some time it starts raining/dizzeling. First I can see it in the back-mirror and later even on track but the rain drops are not shown on the car. I even had to deactivate RainFx otherwise racing against the Ai, they will go to the Pits. Even the rain doesnt last long. Ah yes, and when I start a race, in the first 2 seconds or so there is always this automatic exposure adjust going on, never happened before. What can I try here? Maybe new install of CSP and PURE?

OK, thank you. I will try that today. I also edited my question maybe at the exact time when you wrote to me. So, I get this weird automatic exposure correction in the first 1-2 seconds everytime I start a race. Going very bright and then back to normal. Maybe the reset of weather defaults will also solve this?

I always get the same message in red when I open the Pure planner: Pure planner will not run in the selected seasons mode. Please select at least: Never (use actual sun trajectory) CSP - Settings - Trac adj. When I press the button called "Change seasons settings" the planner opens. I have already changed the suggested seasons mode in CSP. Any idea?

Hi Peter, I have a problem with "pure" preset only. The blacks are washed out especially in the interior. I re-install Pure but didn't solve the problem. Candy and rest of pure filters work fine.

The time zone is Tokyo (UTC+09:00). PurePlanner uses Day Mode. If Use live data is ON, local time will be applied as expected. Also, when I returned it to 0.234, the phenomenon was improved.

Please have a look at \Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension\ Open the track_adjustments.ini. There you see what CM sets into it. For the "Never, set actual suntrajectory" such lines must be in there: [SEASONS] ALLOW_ADJUSTMENTS=0.5 Just monitor, if this is changed after a while, and if so, Microsoft Onedrive or another Clouds servers is changing it back. You can also try to delete this file, maybe it is write-protected....

I have an issue, no matter what setting I change or what time I set once I join game the time back tracks 10hrs... eg: set time to 2pm, enter game and watch sun disappear in 2secs to 4am.

ALLOW_ADJUSTMENTS is set to 0. When I change the option from CSP or start AC and click the "Change seasons settings" in Pure planner, the value changes to 0.5. However, when I start AC again, the value changes to 0. Every time AC loads, that particular value in track_adjustments.ini resets to 0.

FIXED!!! I did some more digging and figured out the issue. Enter game, Open Pure Planner, Go to Settings, General tab and Uncheck "Set midsummer date, if no seasons are set to: Never (use actual sun trajectory)", then restart game. :)

the AI is drivng turning left and driving straight into a wall on detroit bell isle and atlanta motorsports 2022, both mod tracks with VRC indycarr 1999 also a mod. had no issues with AI doing that till recent update. not sure if it was 235 or 234. i only tried 235. Looked in AI settings in CM checked the new boxes available for the AI options. tried on and off. same issue.

Good evening, I own pure and soil, which one is best for you? And I don't know if it's just at home, with Pure when I go from rain to sun and bha the fleet accumulated on the bodywork and the windshield disappears instantly while with ground the wet stays on the car and on the track

Pure has no influence on AI! Also rain parameters were not changed in those versions.

mega should not show adds. These are pro account downloads. I checked it with a blank VM and a clean Firefox. Those links will have no adds. You can download it strait via the download button.

Please install it like shown on the install video. Follow the steps exactly. Also, better use the newest version 0.238. some bugs are fixed in this version.
