Thoughts on creating serial content (Patreon)

There are advantages and disadvantages to writing in the format I do. For one, I don't have to finish an entire book, wondering what people will think about it when I'm done. On the other hand, it pretty much makes it so I can't change anything significant if I later realize it should be different. There aren't any spots that I think absolutely need to change, but there's still things to think about.

For example, I could do the magic in the first books better justice with how I've thought about it much more now. I can do that for a collected, published edition (like many Japanese webnovels also have a light novel version) but it's an intimidating project to work on.

There wasn't really any super important point to this, just thought I'd post something that's not just "hey, I released chapters"
