Talia Update (Patreon)

Hey all!

I hope everyone is still happy and healthy (even if you are cooped up in your homes).  Just letting you know what I've been working on.  Due to so much uncertainty in the world right now, and a major purchase (hopefully) right around the corner with Lightwave 2020, I elected to not rehire my voice actor for Talia's 2nd animation.  I plan on hiring her for her 3rd.

But what I have here is a half hour of raw recording material here and I am splicing together a vocal track using it.  While she is not as talkative as the first one, she is far from silent.. Lots of breathing, grunting and short bits of talking.  It's going quite well..  Better than I hoped it would have.  There is a lot of stuff to work with that you did not hear in the first animation.  I think those of you who opt for the deluxe version will be quite pleased. :)

Anyway... Stay healthy, stay calm and stay home. :)  At least we have some good news with a potential cure discovered.

If you've made it this far, I'll share other insider news I heard about LW2020.  For the past week or so, the beta testers have been using version 2020.0.1: The first patch after the initially intended release version.  Hopefully this addresses most or all of the biggest bugs in the first version and they decide it's release worthy.  If that is the case it could literally be out any day now..  That's what I am hoping anyway.  It's been such a long wait!
