Hello,

Talia's arms have been retopologized.  Then I decided I wasn't fully happy with her abs / obliques and I resculpted it.  And then I re-retopologized them.  So three steps forward, one step back.  The result is, in my opinion, more anatomically-accurate.

EDIT: OKay I now have her lower legs and knees done.  Getting there!

In other news, a new spline toolkit is in development for Lightwave.  It's pretty slick.  It's most useful function for me is it can be used for animating spines.  But look at the attached video clip.  It could also be used to create veins.  It would be an interesting approach because it is not creating them via texture map images.  This means the veins could remain more static when the skin slides around over the top of them.  Interesting stuff.  The developer is guessing it will take him another two months at least to complete the programming, which means it will not be ready in time to be used in Talia.
