Patreon's way of charging you from the 18th (Patreon)

If you are pledging to other creators you may have already had a breakdown of the changes Patreon will be implementing on December 18th, 2017, but wanted to give our own statement regarding them:

Patreon will start charging 2.9% + a mandatory .35 cents on each pledge you make, which will also be per creation/paid post.

For example:

$1 pledge = $1.38

$17.99 pledge = $18.86

$39.99 pledge = $41.50 etc

You may lookup more information and breakdowns of the sweeping changes, but that's the gist of it. It's pennies on the dollar, but it will be affecting us all still.

Just wanted to give you all a message to know about the changes, so it doesn't come as a surprise.
