An Update (Patreon)

I lost my job.

I was working full-time as a director for one of the largest animation studios on YouTube. This was my main source of income for the past three years. Two weeks ago, the studio nearly collapsed due to a change in the YouTube algorithm. Most of the team was let go, including me.

This is not quite how I imagined things would go. My original plan was to wait until I was earning at least $2000 per month on Patreon before quitting my old job to work full-time on NSFW content. Instead, I lost my job suddenly before even reaching $300 per month.

This puts me in a bit of a risky position. For one, I now have 40-60 hours spare a week. I could devote all of this extra time to NSFW projects and animations, however, I need to be realistic. This time will need to be split between a few other things.

A decent chunk of my time will be dedicated to working on projects for DAGames. These guys have supported me for a very long time. Even when my main job consumed all of my time, they were patient and never cut my pay despite many weeks of prolonged inactivity. I owe it to them to do some good work again.

A smaller chunk will go towards creating vector packs for the MLP community. This will only require about 3-4 days per month, but it should provide enough income to cover all my living expenses besides rent. This work can slowly be phased out as my Patreon grows.

The rest of my time (at least 20 hours per week) will go into NSFW projects right here on Patreon. It might not seem like much, but this is easily three times what I was able to do before. You can expect updates more frequently from now on.
