Moving House (Patreon)

We've been on the road between Texas and Alaska for ten days. We're moving house, mainly to reduce our cost of living, but also to have a better work space for music production. Once we're settled in (and have paid off all of our UHaul fees, travel expenses, etc.) our finances should be stable enough that I can retire from DAGames and work on music and NSFW content full-time.

Right now, we're stuck waiting for a ferry to take us to the new town that we'll be living in. It could be 2 days, it could be 2 weeks, there's no way to be sure yet. Their schedule has been backed up ever since one of the boats broke down earlier this year. Every day we're stuck is another day that I can't work, another day of UHaul fees, and another night spent in motels. These costs add up fast, and there's nothing we can do to guarantee an early spot in line. We just have to hope we get lucky.

If worst comes to worst, I can break out the pens and paper and do drawing exercises ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


UPDATE: The ferry let us on! We only had to sit around for 2 days, which wasn't too bad. There's a lot of unpacking to do, but I should have things up and running again before too long.

In other news, I was able to recruit an animator to help out with one of my DAGames projects. He's been doing an amazing job, and the mountain of work ahead for Cup De Grace looks far more manageable now. Just a few more months if all goes well!

Next, I was finally able to repair all of my project files for Cum Zone IV. It was a painfully slow process that took days of uninterrupted focus, but it's done, and I can finally continue with music production once again. Windows 11 will pay for it's crimes... >.>

I have also made progress on smaller things, such as new emotes, shirts, sketches, lore, etc. I even have some 3D test animations in the works. These will get their own dedicated posts when they are ready :)
