Time to check out Peter Pan released in 2003.

As Wendy Darling (Rachel Hurd-Wood) recounts stories to her brothers, John (Harry Newell) and Michael (Freddie Popplewell), she is visited by Peter Pan (Jeremy Sumpter). Peter, a boy who magically never ages, invites Wendy and her brothers to Neverland, an island where he lives with the Lost Boys. Peter Pan- Thank you very much for a fun reaction to another rendition of the Peter Pan story, here in Peter Pan from 2003 starring Jeremy Sumpter and Jason Isaacs, Timothee! I really enjoy this movie, in spite of it being a little cheesy at times. And yes... I do believe it's meant to be a bit cheesy, because it is meant to be for kids to enjoy. And like with so many Disney movies and kids movies nowadays, there is even a little adult humor in this movie too, so that the parents watching this movie with their children might not feel so bored or annoyed with it. Also... The creators, director, and writers wanted to try to make this movie as close as possible to the original story of Peter Pan, as well as to the animated Disney movie combined, while also creating their own take on this beloved fairytale people have loved ever since J.M. Barrie first wrote Peter Pan for the stage. And I think this movie succeeds beautifully in this respect. This movie absolutely has its flaws. Like you... I feel kind of annoyed with how Tinker Bell is done throughout this movie as well. I applaud the creators for making her a character who doesn't speak at all, and I can appreciate seeing a take on this character who is able to use her magic to transform and create magic in order to speak. This creative version of Tinker Bell is in between her character in the original animated Disney movie, who does not speak either, as well as her character in the original stage play and stage play filmed in movie form starring Mary Martin as Peter Pan. In these versions, Tinker Bell also doesn't speak, and she is only just filmed as light coming from a flashlight. So, while the strange voice noises, and especially the CGI and animation for Tinker Bell in this movie is more annoying and wonky than not in this 2003 movie version, I can still applaud the animators and film creators for trying to create their own, unique take on Tinker Bell. I love Jeremy Sumpter as Peter Pan throughout this movie, as well as Jason Isaacs in both of his roles within this movie... as Captain Hook and as Mr. Darling too. Jeremy Sumpter captures the role of Peter Pan perfectly. His facial expressions and ability to act as a young boy who never wants to grow up is phenomenal. And I've seen Jason Isaacs in many, many movies and a few TV shows too, and in most of them, he does always play the bad guy and villain. Much like his role as Lucius Malfoy within the Harry Potter movies. He's fantastic as the villain in any movie! And yet... I also really enjoy seeing play the children's father throughout this movie too. It's nice to see him take on a role that is very different for him. Thank you very much for your reaction once again, Timothee! I'm excited for your reactions to many more movies to come! :) Sincerely, Heidi

Also, in case you are not aware... There are actually two more versions of Peter Pan, as well as a Peter Pan movie based on its original author J.M. Barrie you have yet to watch. If you would be interest in watching them at all, that is. First... Peter Pan from 1960. A live theater version starring the first woman to play Peter Pan in film, Mary Martin. In the original play, women were always casted to play Peter Pan. Second... I recommend a very different take on the Peter Pan story, in a live action movie from 2015 starring Levi Miller, Garrett Hedlund, Hugh Jackman, and Rooney Mara. I enjoy this movie, as much as I enjoy Peter Pan from 2003, for various reasons. And lastly... I highly recommend that you check out Finding Neverland from 2004 starring Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, and Freddie Highmore. This is the movie about Peter Pan's original author, J.M. Barrie, and how he comes to write Peter Pan. This movie is absolutely beautiful, and so good. Brilliantly acted by all involved. If you have any interest in watching Finding Neverland, I will certainly request it for you sometime in the coming months soon. That is... if you have no intention of watching it on your own. Just let me know! :) Thank you again, Timothee! Sincerely, Heidi
