Time to check out Misery released in 1990.

CONTEXT

After a serious car crash, novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), who claims to be his biggest fan. Annie brings him to her remote cabin to recover, where her obsession takes a dark turn when she discovers Sheldon is killing off her favorite character from his novels. As Sheldon devises plans for escape, Annie grows increasingly controlling, even violent, as she forces the author to shape his writing to suit her twisted fantasies.

NOTE

Just click on the 'Sync' link, the full-length reaction has been split into 2 parts. You can either download the file or stream it. The bigger the file the more time it might take to load so give it a couple seconds if streaming. If experiencing issues, might be a little temporary issue for whatever reason so just wait 1h or so and try again should work. If issues persist contact me and i'll look into it.

The movie's audio is all over the place, some scenes are crazy quite (low dialogue), and some very loud (action scenes)! If you have trouble hearing some scenes let me know, if it's most of the movie just let me know and i'll find a way to reedit it to make the audio louder.

'Misery's Child', which was just published and for sale, was the book in which Misery died. The manuscript that Annie burned was his first non-Misery book, so changing the end was not an option. In Annie's eyes, any thought of departing from the series had to be destroyed.
