UIAssist 2.x BETA Progress Update (Patreon)

Hi all, thanks to all my Patreons for their ongoing support and especially those that have provided some great feedback for the UIAssist 2.x Beta. I'm still working hard on this and there are three main areas I want to finish before considering it Beta complete:

  • In Progress: In game help screens. This will replace the large manual that was maintained for v1.x. I've attached some example screenshots. The help will be context sensitive, so will change depending on which UI controls the mouse is hovering over.
  • In Progress: Tree view browser of the button setup. This will help navigate around the Plugin UI and also facilitate copying of moving buttons and operations.
  • Not started: Non-patreon version of the plugin. Need to lock down the patreon features and test it all works

Once the beta is complete, I'll start looking at some of the feature requests I've started getting on the Discord channel (https://discord.gg/HMf7FTYqFa).

For some reason I can't add new grids. There are no errors either and the only thing I can think of is it wouldn't let me add grids after bulk setup of preset looks. Any Idea as to why this is happening?

I think that is probably happening if you have the Grid you are deleting open in the Game Control UI (i.e. the button display in the main VAM playspace), I believe I've already fixed it in the next release which should be out soon. Let me know if that's not the case.

Nothing I do seems to change the issue, I have the same problem even after deleting default preset and starting from new. I am fairly new to this plugin so I've not had to delete a massive setup lol

Its hard to troubleshoot issues on Patreon chat. If you can wait for the next release in a few days (which fixes a number of issues around this area) that would be best. If you still have the problem I'd suggest discussing on my Discord channel, where you can share screenshots so I can see the issue better.
