UIAssist v1.0 (Free) (Patreon)

UI Assist (UIA) is a new plugin intended to enhance the usability of VAM – primarily targeted at easier content consumption rather than content creation. Currently users principally interact with content using the very extensive and complex VAM UI screens and menus. Whilst comprehensive, there are a lot of options, history and complexities that can make navigation slow. 

UI Assist allows the user to define the function of each button on the UI and then reuse that setup in any scene. Because UIAssist is a Session plugin it automatically persists between scene loads. The UI is accessible via a watch (i.e. clock) on the user’s VR wrist that can be clicked to reveal a menu of buttons. The action for each button can be targeted at the Atom last looked at by the user.
