New Launcher Update - Download a day early and help us test (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

As part of our reorganisation process we have also worked on developing a new way of file downloading for the launcher. This new file system allows us to deliver the game in a similar way as major platforms such as Steam do it. This allows you as users to download the game on a file by file basis, which means all future updates downloads will be smaller.

Additionally if your game has issues, or some files may have been deleted,  you are able to repair and verify your file integrity from the launcher itself.  We have decided to release the launcher a day before the CK2 Ep2 Patreon release to make sure that any unforeseen issues are fixed before the release.

The new launcher version will be in Beta for a few weeks.  The old version of the launcher with old download system will remain active until November 31st, after that it will automatically be updated to the new version for all PC users, while Mac users will have to redownload the latest one and update manually.

The new Episode 2: The Pool Party update that comes this Friday release will be available on both versions of the launcher. We recommend that you download the new launcher and try it now, and before installing it please uninstall the previous version of the launcher to minimise any potential issues.
