Hey folks, I am sure some of you have seen the #dungeon23 trend making its rounds throughout the TTRPG space over the last few weeks. I wanted to wait until I could actually get a map out from under me before committing myself to such a grueling task and formally throwing my hat in the ring, so here we go.

For those who are unfamiliar with this creative challenge sweeping social media, TTRPG writer Sean McCoy came up with the idea of creating a daily dungeon room, ultimately building a 365 room megadungeon throughout the course of a year. If you're interested, you can check out the post here.

So I'll admit I've taken a few liberties here with the parameters of the challenge. For starters, it was proposed as an exercise in daily writing. I'm not pretending to be writing out a room every day, nor am I scrawling it all out meticulously in a nice leatherbound journal. But a fully rendered 12 floor, 365 room megadungeon map, released in monthly increments of 30-ish rooms? I figured I could maybe do that.

For now I'm using the prompts from the original post, which were "ancient, death, sunken," and "love" for the first four weeks, respectively. Apologies if any are offended by suggestive imagery in the fertility temple mosaics, but given that my prompt was essentially "love dungeon" I think I've managed some restraint.

Quick question - your other levels of the megadungeon have a "Level" image, which combines the different parts of the level into a single image. Is that something that is available for this one? I'm not seeing it in the CR 5 download folder, at least.

Hey Joseph! Yeah, I started doing that after this first level when I realized it made my life far easier when putting together Foundry modules. Once I get the rest of the month's posts published I'll add this to the to-do list. Should be an easy update.
